You will find our shop spacious, friendly and fun!! We opened in August 2007, after completing that year’s statewide Shop Hop. Our store is conveniently located in Bangor, Maine where we have over 3000 bolts of fabric in stock that include many of today’s top designer cottons from Robert Kaufmann, Benartex, Moda, Hoffman of California, Northcott, Clothworks, Timeless Treasures, Westminster and beautiful Batiks. In addition to our many fabrics, we also carry a full line of notions from manufacturers like Olfa, Sulky and Clover – just to name a few. And don’t forget to browse our great selection of patterns from Wooden Bear, Purse-O-Nalities, Lazy Girl Designs, Kool Kats and many others. We offer ing large selection of quilting books include old favorites from Quilt In A Day, plus the latest from That Patchwork Place and C & T Publishing. Along with quilting books, we also, stock Jennifer Chiaverini’s Elm Creek Series (She was at our shop in March 2011 for a book signing!!) and Marie Bostwick’s Cobble Court Quilts. Marie will be joining us again June 9, 2011 for the release of her latest book, Threading The Needle.

In November, 2010 we became an Authorized Bernina Dealership, offering education, service and sales. We carry the entire line of Bernina and bernette machines, including the 8 Series 830LE!! Our Bernina education classes our evolving and can offer any Bernina owner that little bit of knowledge to make their sewing experience an enjoyable one. "Nothing Sews Like A Bernina, Nothing."

The Cotton Cupboard Quilt Shop not only has all the things you need to make beautiful quilts, we also offer many types of classes and workshops. Our classes and workshops will help you learn new skills and techniques in a friendly and inviting atmosphere.
